Multi-Monostatic Interferometric Radar for Bridge Monitoring
نویسندگان
چکیده
In recent years, interferometric radar has been extensively used as a sensor for static and dynamic monitoring of bridges. Generally speaking, can only detect displacement components along the view direction. As movement real bridge or large structure be rather complex, this limitation significant drawback in engineering practice. order to overcome limitation, article, multi-monostatic retrieving vector is proposed. It basically multiple input, output (MIMO) radar, equipped with transponder that consists pair antennae, relative amplifiers, connected radiofrequency (RF) cable. This arrangement allows simultaneous detection two independent components. The was successfully tested both controlled environment field on crossing Arno river Florence, Italy.

Monitoring of Civil Infrastructures by Interferometric Radar: A Review
Ground-based radar interferometry is an increasingly popular technique for monitoring civil infrastructures. Many research groups, professionals, and companies have tested it in different operative scenarios, so it is time for a first systematic survey of the case studies reported in the literature. This review is addressed especially to the engineers and scientists interested to consider the a...

8 9 10 A Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is an active sensor transmitting pulses of polarized 11 electromagnetic waves and receiving the backscattered radiation. SAR sensors at different 12 wavelengths and with different polarimetric capabilities are being used in remote sensing of 13 the Earth. The value of an analysis of backscattered energy alone is limited due to ambiguities 14 in the possib...
متن کاملBridge Detection in multi-aspect high-resolution Interferometric SAR Data
State-of-the-art airborne SAR sensors provide spatial resolutions in the order well below half a meter. In such data many features of urban objects can be identified, which were beyond the scope of radar remote sensing before. Core elements of urban infrastructure are bridges. An example for the new quality of the appearance of bridges in high-resolution InSAR data is given and interpreted. Due...

متن کاملModel Order Selection in Multi-baseline Interferometric Radar Systems
Synthetic aperture radar interferometry (InSAR) is a powerful technique to derive three-dimensional terrain images. Interest is growing in exploiting the advancedmulti-baseline mode of InSAR to solve layover effects from complex orography, which generate reception of unexpected multicomponent signals that degrade imagery of both terrain radar reflectivity and height. This work addresses a few p...
